Karen Beatty French is an educator and community engagement specialist with expertise in literacy, special education, and instructional support. She organizes events and workshops that connect parents with essential resources to support their children's academic success. With a background in teaching and reading intervention, Karen provides interactive learning opportunities, parent networking events, and one-on-one consulting to help families navigate the education system and foster learning at home.
As a service-oriented leader, Karen Beatty French takes a strategic and thoughtful approach to connecting parents with the resources they need to support their children’s academic success. Through KRB Connect, she designs and coordinates impactful events that empower families with information, tools, and community connections.

For over 20 years, Karen worked as a special educator and reading remediation teacher in public schools, helping students with disabilities and literacy challenges. She collaborated with teams and leadership to implement specialized plans, ensuring students received the support needed to thrive while maintaining state and federal compliance.
Now, as a Parent Resource Coordinator and Coach, Karen applies her expertise in education, project management, and problem-solving to create community engagement events and personalized consulting services tailored for parents. She specializes in event planning, resource networking, and coaching parents on navigating the education system, advocating for their children, and fostering learning at home. From coordinating logistics and vendor management to budget planning and on-site support, she ensures each event runs smoothly and provides real value to families. In addition, Karen offers one-on-one consultations to help parents identify and access the tools, services, and strategies needed to support their children’s learning journey.
